Department of Applied Science and Humanities (FE) thrives to accomplish its goal to develop world class engineers by providing a strong foundation to the students pursuing Engineering course. In First Year Engineering, students get acquainted with wide range of subjects and get hands-on experience on various practical aspects. Department strives hard for the overall multifaceted development of students under the leadership Prof. Hemant S. Kulat  with a motivated team of expert faculties. First year engineering helps the students in inculcating fundamentals and to develop their logical and analytical skills, which will help them to prosper in further education and their carriers.

With an orientation of interdisciplinary teaching of fundamental courses in Science & Engineering such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Communication skills, the department has also enriched its curriculum by introducing courses such as Creative thinking, Communication Skills, Soft Skills which are essential to develop an all-round personality with innovative and creative mind.
